Biopac: Compostable salad containers

Designed for caterers and foodservice outlets, Biopac’s compostable salad containers offer the same durability and aesthetic appeal as plastic containers, but can be composted along with food waste.

Pw 52704 Compostable Kraft Salad Container

Unlike conventional plastics, these compostable packaging can be composted and broken down completely in less than 12 weeks, according to the company.  Biopac's crystal clear range includes PLA containers for salad dressings or accompaniments, and larger-hinged containers made from fully-compostable cornstarch which have a good seal and are suitable for salads, pastas, and other cold foods.

Biopac also have a range of natural kraft hinged containers with a PLA window made from compostable material.  The board is made from FSC derived sources and both the box and the window are 100% compostable so can be disposed alongside your food waste.
