Keith Spicer Ltd. bags efficient end loader

The machine is driven by 14 independent servo motors that are set to operate intermittently to match the infeed system.

“We achieve higher productivity with 20-percent increased output and 50-percent reduction in packing labor costs,” says John Cardwell, operations director for Ferndown, Dorset, England-based Keith Spicer. “Integrating infeed collation inside the cartoning machine also saves valuable floor space. From day one, we have had no problems and the system has exceeded our expectations,” he says. —JB
