The beer industry may seek government permission to include a benefits statement, as well as the mandatory warning, on beer labels. According to Craig Purser, director of industry affairs for the National Beer Wholesalers Assn., brewers are waiting to see if the wine industry wins approval of its request for a benefits statement.

Shaker cups pour into Papa John's pizza outlets
New 'shake-n-pour' lidstock on a plastic cup lets consumers shake or pour crushed pepper or parmesan cheese onto their pizza. The cup is placed into a die-cut area on corrugated pizza boxes for Papa John's pizza deliveries and carry-outs.
