The Thermal Control Panel from TCP Reliable comprises blow molded bottles with tabs that allow them to be interconnected in a variety of ways. Inside the bottles are special formulations of chemicals whose phase-change temperatures are at the optimum storage temperature of the temperature-sensitive product stored within the formed shape.
Less material is required, which reduces weight and freight costs. The phase-change material can be placed in direct contact with the product because there is no risk of freezing, reducing the size of the final package because no dunnage or air gaps are required.
