Plastic food containers will help drive food container demand to $12.6 billion by 2005, according to Food Containers, a new study from The Freedonia Group, a Cleveland-based market research firm.

Sauces and condiments will present the strongest growth opportunities in food. The study forecasts plastic food container growth of 5.5% annually to $3.6 billion by 2005.
