Seen in a drugstore in Nagoya, Japan, this attractive display recasts coffee into kit form, ready to go when you are, with everything needed in one handy format. The coated paperboard cup contains packets of instant coffee, sugar, and creamer, as well as prewrapped spoons. The cup is topped with a clear polymer dome; a full-body shrink film seals the entire package.
Price varies by cup quantity:
Two cups = 100¥/USD $1.28
Four cups = 169¥/USD $2.17
Five cups = 207¥/USD $2.65
From UCC Ueshima Coffee Co., Kobe, the product has an 18-month shelf life. Interestingly, one UCC blend (not shown) is Blue Mountain Coffee. The Japanese simply “lava” their java!
