Matthews Marking Systems announced the expansion of its advanced laser marking portfolio with the launch of Fiber and UV laser marking systems, complementing its existing CO₂ laser technology.

Engineered for high-speed, high-precision applications, the laser systems are designed to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability across a wide range of industries.

Fiber Lasers: The new Fiber Laser system incorporates a vibration correction system (VCS), a cutting-edge technology that minimizes marking distortions caused by production line vibrations. This is designed to ensure crisp, permanent codes even on high-speed, high-motion surfaces on metals and plastics.

UV Lasers: Designed for delicate, heat-sensitive materials such as flexible films, medical devices, and glass, Matthews’ UV laser system features OptiBeam Technology, a beam-shaping innovation that guarantees uniform, high-contrast marking with minimal thermal impact.

All Matthews’ laser marking systems, including CO2, Fiber, and UV, are powered by the MPERIA platform that offers:

  • Centralized Control – Manage multiple marking systems from one interface
  • Easy Integration – Works with existing production lines and ERP/MES systems
  • Scalability – Supports expanding operations with customizable workflows
  • Automated Marking – Reduces operator intervention, increasing efficiency

Matthews’ expanded laser portfolio aims to allow manufacturers to eliminate consumables, reduce maintenance, and achieve permanent, high-quality marks while boosting production efficiency.
