This solution focuses on selecting the correct box size for orders to be packed without much "air" left in the box. The algorithm knows what size box to select based on the size of the picked items. FastFetch’s Intellipack software program also provides replenishing of the boxes based upon the size of the boxes used. The replenishing is used for in house as well in that a report is generated and sent to the box vendor, and the box vendor can order replenish boxes on a determined schedule.
