The Massman 4500 Series tin tie applicator and bag finisher automatically applies ties, folds the bag top, and bends the ties to secure any vertical, single-fold bag. Designed to integrate with a vertical form/fill/seal machine, the unit produces up to 80 closed, filled bags per minute. It features continuous motion operation, PLC-controlled automatic adjustment for different bag widths and matching tie lengths, and a frame that allows adjustment of the machine bed height. Options include custom conveyors, bag feeding spacing units, a low-tie detection system, and a plow-and-tape-down unit for tamper-evidence security.
