Pro Mach Named to Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies for Fourth Time

Pro Mach, Inc. announced today that it has been named to the 2014 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. This marks Pro Mach’s fourth time on the Inc. list and its highest ranking at 4,058 nationwide and 32 in the Cincinnati Metro Area. Pro Mach achieved a 3-year sales growth rate of 73%, moving them up more than 700 spots from its first year on the list in 2008 and nearly 20 spots higher than last year. Pro Mach moved up 10 spots on the Cincinnati list. In terms of total revenue Pro Mach ranks 84th on the Inc. list and 2nd in the Cincinnati Metro Area.

Pro Mach has added over 500 employees in the 3 years measured by Inc., and boasts one of the largest and most experienced engineering and customer support staffs in the packaging industry – the average employee tenure is well over 15 years. Pro Mach has more than 100 patents or patents pending on packaging innovations and is a leader in the industry in sustainable manufacturing and incorporating common packaging machinery standards such as PackML. Pro Mach’s ProCustomer® brand for service and support is at the forefront of ensuring a superior customer experience throughout the purchase and product lifecycle.

During the 3-year period measured by Inc., Pro Mach increased revenues from $225.1 million to $389.4 million. Pro Mach has made 13 acquisitions since 2011, expanding its product and service capabilities and geographic markets. During the 3-year period Pro Mach expanded its footprint in Europe and increased its focus on Latin America and other emerging markets. Pro Mach announced in September it is being acquired by affiliates of AEA Investors LP. The transaction is expected to close before the end of this year.

According to Inc., the companies on this year’s list reported aggregate revenue of $211 billion and created 505,000 jobs.
