Schneider Electric ELAU Packaging Solutions: Automatic packager

Wachter, represented in North America by Stiles Automated Packing Systems, has introduced the Cartojet C IV automatic packaging machine. Capable of folding, loading, and closing a variety of different sizes and types of trays and cases, the machine handles display trays with and without covers, as well as wraparound cases.

Designed exclusively with servo-controlled drives using ELAU’s PackDrive™ automation, enables the unit to produce at speeds to 25 cases/min with rapid changeover between various sizes. Features a small footprint, and offers the option of placing or sliding product into position. Available in models exclusively for the food and beverage industries, or for nonfood applications.
