Nutec Systems has announced the North American release of the apsolute, an industrial printer using HP thermal ink-jet technology print cartridges.

These cartridges are complemented for the first time by fast-dry/alcohol inks suitable for printing on nonporous packaging materials such as plastics, coated surfaces, foils, etc., without the need for special drying techniques. Suitable for track-and-trace and printing high-quality bar codes at speeds to 229 m/min with resolutions to 600 dpi. System can print all True Type Fonts and graphics and offers Ethernet connectivity to allow for use of external serialization schema.
