MeadWestvaco Packaging Resources Group: MeadWestvaco Packaging Resources Group: Coated post-print linerboard

A new premium-quality, coated, bleached linerboard from MeadWestvaco is allowing corrugated box plants to achieve markedly superior post-print graphic reproduction.

This creates corrugated packaging and displays that deliver maximum impact at customers’ point-of-sale, company says. Coated post-print liner is a solid-fiber, double-coated, bleached C1S paperboard engineered specifically to be roll-fed into corrugators prior to flexographic post printing. Linerboard lessens the fluted washboard effect that distorts printed graphics, and prevents scuffing during the corrugation process.
