Akro-Mils announces new president

Akro-Mils announces that Chad Collins accepted the position of President of Akro-Mils and Jamco.

Collins has spent 10 years with Parker Hannifin within the Aerospace, Filtration, Automation and Motion Systems groups. Most recently he was General Manager in Europe with operating sites in United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Czech Republic. He also worked for Royal Philips as Vice President, Head of Global Operations where he led the computed topography and nuclear medicine businesses. Prior to that he was at IDEX Health and Science where he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including general management and global operations.

“I’m excited to join Myers Industries and lead such wonderful brands in Akro-Mils and Jamco. The company has a unique portfolio and a highly motivated team. I look forward to learning about our customers and creating a lot of value for them over time,” says Collins.

Collins holds an A.A. in Architectural Technology from Orange Coast College, a B.S. in Manufacturing Technology with a minor in Business from Eastern Kentucky University, and an MBA from the University of La Verne with a Leadership and Management focus.
