Rovema North America, a subsidiary of Rovema GmbH, which designs and supplies packaging machinery for the food industry, has hired Steven White as Business Development Manager.
In this role, White will assist sales with application and technical support plans and will develop relationships with customers, helping to ensure the highest levels of maintenance service and overall machine performance. Additionally, he will assist in the development and implementation of strategies for new products and services by analyzing customer needs and trends.
Prior to joining Rovema, White rose through the engineering ranks of General Mills, starting as a research/development technician and concluding as an SME Engineering Specialist. At General Mills, he was widely known and utilized as a subject matter expert concerning vertical form-fill-seal packaging equipment. White is an “Enginuity Award” recipient and holds design and application patents for his work to improve hollow auger volumetric filling and combination scale processes.
