Arrowhead acquires select automation assets of Trillium

Arrowhead Systems adds to sophisticated robotic offerings with Trillium Automation’s assets.

Arrowhead Systems announced today that it has acquired select assets of Trillium Automation, Inc., a robotics and automation supplier to the plastics, food, pharmaceutical, and consumer products industries.

Trillium Automation specializes in the design and manufacturing of robotic automation solutions. Their low cost, modular, and gantry palletizing systems, bulk and case solutions, and machine tending equipment can be found on production lines throughout the country. While the Arrowhead Systems portfolio already includes palletizing equipment sold under the Busse/SJI and Priority One brands, the acquisition will enable Arrowhead to enhance and expand their product offerings using Trillium’s robotic expertise.

“Arrowhead Systems has a long-standing reputation in manufacturing high-quality conveyor and machinery solutions.” says Pat Vincent, President and Chief Operating Officer of Arrowhead Systems. “While Trillium has only 10 years of history, the company is well-known for their extensive experience with the sophisticated robotic systems used in the plastics and automotive industries. By combining Arrowhead’s legacy with Trillium’s automation expertise, we will take our world-class equipment to a new level.”

Trillium Automation is based in Kimball Township, Mich., and will remain at that location. The company will now operate as Arrowhead Automation, LLC d.b.a. Trillium Automation.
