Smyth appoints William Challoner Executive VP of Sales and Marketing

St. Paul-based Smyth Companies, a label printer specializing in label and package solutions markets, has announced the appointment of William Challoner to the role of Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Challoner will report to Scott Fisher, President of Smyth Companies.

“Bill has over 20 years experience in the packaging industry and brings a broad understanding of all sales, marketing, information technologies and operational effectiveness of the business,” said Scott Fisher.

“We believe that Bill’s extensive background in in these areas will have a significant impact on our growth strategy.”

Challoner’s duties will include direct responsibility for all Smyth’s sales and market- ing efforts, information technologies and “go-to-market” strategy.

Prior to joining Smyth, Challoner was VP of Sales & Marketing for Pioneer Metal Finishing.  He also spent more than twelve years with WS Packaging Group, as VP of Business and Market Development.
