BluePrint Automation hires Jerry Buckley, Luiz Morgato

BluePrint Automation, provider of vision-guided robotics, case/tray packing, and turnkey packaging systems, has announced the hiring of two new employees: Jerry Buckley as the new Midwest Regional Sales Manager; and Luiz Morgato as new Director for South America.

Buckley has an extensive background in packaging machinery having been in the industry for 28 years. He first started as a manufacturer’s packaging representative handling many different types of packaging machines. He later went on to work as National Sales Manager for Jacob White Packaging selling End-Load Cartoning Machinery before joining Bradman Lake Group selling Top-Load & End-Load Cartoning Systems, Horizontal Wrapping Systems and Case Packing Systems. Jerry was with Bradman Lake Group for 18 years.  He lives in the St. Louis area.

Morgato will be responsible for further developing BluePrint Automation in South America to include new customers, markets and the starting of a new office in Brazil with local field service.

In regards to his new opportunity, he says: “This is a very good moment for the secondary packaging automation in South America due to the development of the region and the consciousness about ergonomic issues for the operators. South America is a huge market and BluePrint will explore its potential as much as possible.”

Morgato has 20 years of experience in packaging machinery and systems.  He has worked in many different areas of the industry including sales, assembly, production control, engineering and project management.  He comes to BluePrint with a degree in Production Engineering from São Paulo – Brazil.
