Continuous ink-jet marking system

Matthews’ I-Mark™ C84e Continuous Ink-Jet (CIJ) marking system, designed for small character marking, prints up to 4 lines of text from .05 in -.61 in. (1.25 mm-15.6 mm) high at a maximum production line speed of 1,050 ft./minute.

Prints expiration dates, batch codes, logos and bar codes on porous or non-porous materials. A large (10.4 in.), color, icon-based touchscreen and single button controls for jet startup/shutdown make the C84e easy to operate and to create and edit messages. Printer features a self-cleaning printhead, and a new solvent pump and improved startup/shutdown programs improve viscosity control. Flush routine removes ink and automatically flushes solvent to the printhead nozzle. New clocks, date codes, expiration date codes and counters have been. Vertical text positioning allows fine adjustment of vertical and horizontal spacing. Other features include new bar codes options, remote message sending/selection of bar codes, and improved print registration.
