Aromat (New Providence, NJ) has introduced NAiS miniature UZP inductive proximity sensors for applications where oil mist and grime threaten automated tool and ma-chine operation.

UZP1 units measure 8 x 8 x 20 mm and are available for top and front detection with a distance range of 2.5 mm. UZP2 has a 3-mm range; UZP3 offers a 5- mm range.
