Packaging caters to e-commerce demands

Sealed Air debuted three new, sustainable packaging offerings for e-commerce companies.

Sealed Air
Sealed Air

Sealed Air’s newest packaging offerings are designed to help large companies and small businesses alike better tackle the challenges of e-commerce volume growth, reduce costs, increase throughput velocity and increase efficiencies, while also meeting their needs for more sustainable packaging solutions. The three different packaging styles were on display at PACK EXPO International 2018.

  • EcoPure – a fabricated foam made from a polyethylene resin derived from sugar cane and recycled content material, with strong sustainability credentials. EcoPure has the potential to yield a negative carbon footprint value, while delivering cushioning and protection for a variety of applications.
  • TuffGard® Now – a cushioned mailer and work cell solution that is inflated on demand using Sealed Air’s NewAir I.B. Flex system. TuffGard® Now is the first inflatable cushioned mailer and eliminates the need for corrugated boxes.
  • Jiffylite® Auto – an automated modular packaging system that uses Sealed Air’s Jiffylite® mailers. The system enables small parcel shipping operations to improve throughput velocity in high-volume packaging stations.
