Amcor Ltd. entered into a definitive agreement under which it will acquire Bemis Co., Inc. in an all-stock combination.

Static Clean formed a strategic alliance/partnership with Fraser Antistatic Techniques that gives each company broader coverage and depth of products in static neutralization, static generating, and particulate control in their respective markets.

The Product Inspection Group of Mettler Toledo opened the Product Inspection Headquarters of the Americas, a 265,000 sq-ft office and manufacturing space that houses all of the Product Inspection business units: Safeline metal detection and x-ray inspection, Hi-Speed checkweighing, CI-Vision machine vision, and PCE Track&Trace/Serialization.

Overnight Labels received certification from Graphic Measures International to print digital and flexographic labels and packaging components for the CVS brand.

KHS USA, Inc. acquired the assets of Scandia Packaging Machinery Co.

Phoenix Closures changed its name to Phoenix.

Automated Packaging Systems partnered with ABB to integrate its Autobag 500 bagging system with ABB’s YuMi robot.

Pregis LLC completed the acquisition of FP International.

Spartan Parts is a new subsidiary of Fogg Filler Co. that will focus on custom parts design and fabrication for commercial filling equipment.

Mondi Group acquired a control position of Egypt-based Suez Bags Co. S.A.E.

Fanuc America Corp. will construct a facility in Auburn Hills, MI, that will be used for engineering, product development, manufacturing, and warehousing. The facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019.

Jason Hogue was hired as Southeast Regional Sales Manager for BluePrint Automation (BPA).

Chris Kyger was named President of Sun Automation Group.

Bob Hamilton joined Butler Automation as Sales Director-East.

Michael Riegsecker was named President of Menasha Packaging Co.

Key Technology appointed Alvaro Nunez Area Sales Manager, Central and Northern California and Agustin Alcantara Rosales Regional Manager, Mexico.

Michael Frederick was appointed Business Unit President and General Manager of API Americas.
