Pregis and Sharp join forces

Exhibiting jointly for the first time at PACK EXPO Las Vegas were Sharp Packaging Systems and Pregis LLC. Pregis acquired Sharp earlier this year.

Featured at Booth C-2051is the Pregis Packmaster Pro paper cushioning system (shown here), redesigned so that it can run both single- and double-ply paper. Also new to the system is that it has a pre-set functionality that remembers output settings for varying packages. As for Sharp Packaging, they are demonstrating nine machines, including their newly improved MAX 24 bagging and mail order system. Systems like these are used for a variety of applications such as medical/pharmaceutical, injection molded parts or fasteners, and linen services, and they’re attracting attention at the PACK EXPO booth partly because of the growing popularity of and interest in e-commerce.
