New Packaging World apps tailored for iPad, iPhone, and Android

With the May 2014 issue, Packaging World launches several new versions of its magazine app.

The iPad edition (also available for Android tablets) will feature an enhanced replica of the print edition, with videos and enhanced content such as 360° interactive panoramic photography of innovative packages that you can rotate and zoom with your fingers to view from any angle you choose.

For those readers with older eyes, the tablet app’s Guided Reading feature automatically zooms in to display big, sharp text, and repositions the screen automatically wherever the article continues, whether lower down on the page, or to the top of the next column, or even the next page.

In the iPhone and Android edition, each article consists of single page of scrollable text and images designed specifically for one-handed operation on-the-go.

As the new apps are built on a completely new, state-of-the-art platform, readers of the existing Packaging World app will need to delete and re-download the new version to continue receiving the magazine on their device.

The new apps can be downloaded from the Apple App store at pwgo.to/781 or Google Play at pwgo.to/782.
