Tokyo Pack runs October 2-5 at Tokyo Big Sight. With 510 Japanese companies occupying more than 19,000 square meters, Tokyo Pack 2012 confirms its position as the largest and most unique packaging show in Asia, presenting the widest range of advanced Japanese packaging, with potential for international application, in the Asian region. Key categories include packaging materials and containers, packaging material and substrates, and design.
Packaging machinery on show includes equipment for the printing and converting sectors, inspection and measurement, food and pharmaceutical processing and transport/logistics sectors, distribution systems, and other packaging-related equipment.
The widest cross section of Japanese global packaging corporations will be exhibiting their latest market offerings, including well known international names. A special delegation from the Swedish packaging industry will also be represented at the Embassy of Sweden booth.
In the 46 years since the first Tokyo Pack was held in 1966, traditionally the focus of the exhibition has been on how the package enhances the quality of life through the use of the most advanced materials and solution-based structures. This year the biennial “celebration of the package” is to be taken to a new level. In addition to packages on display at individual exhibitor booths, visitors will be able to get a unique snapshot of the best of Japanese packaging technology through special-focus Packaging Pavilions
