 Plastic bottles also on the rise. Glass still dominant but steadily losing ground. The Brewers' Union attributes market shifts by type of packaging to several factors including strong demand for producers to launch and promote new or updated brands in new types of packaging. The glass segment is losing market share due to structural changes in the glass industry. Discount brands are growing primarily thanks to the plastic bottle format.
