KHS, Inc. (Waukesha, WI) acquired Klöckner Bartelt (Sarasota, FL).

News of the acquisition was announced March 6, 2003. “With this transaction, bartelt will have greater resources to invest in R&D, design, and upgrading of existing technology,” says Reno Cruz, president and CEO of KHS, Inc. KHS will pursue its strategy to diversify its product lines in the food, beverage, consumer, and industrial packaging markets.
