Although final figures were unavailable at press time, preliminary figures showed an attendance of 188ꯠ visitors from 113 countries. The total is up about 1.6% from interpack 93. The increase could be due in part from an increasing contingent of visitors from the U.S. While U.S. visitors accounted for 7% of foreign attendance in '93, this year's preliminary figures showed 10% of the foreign visitors came from the U.S. They experienced an even bigger show, too. The number of exhibitors this year rose nearly 6% to 2괷 companies.
