Chinese Wal-Marts going green. . .

Wal-Mart plans to upgrade to green all 113 of its stores in China within the next 5 years. Existing stores will be outfitted with more sustainable equipment. And like its just-opened store in Beijing, future Chinese Wal-Mart's will use LED lighting, motion sensors to conserve lighting, and sliding glass doors which will also conserve energy. Other energy-saving plans include: "Powering 100% of its operations by renewable energy, achieving zero waste, and selling more products that sustain Wal-Mart's resources and the environment.
