Global packager Amcor Ltd. is teaming up with Plantic Technologies Ltd. to develop a new biodegradable material for the confectionary packaging market.

If successful, could provide manufacturers and retailers with a cost effective, functional and environmentally suitable packaging solution. The two-year alliance features Plantic providing a plastic created from plants which dissolves on contact with water and Amcor using the material in commercial packaging trials. How sweet it is!
