Two hundred different drug companies in Indonesia are not displaying comprehensive information on the packaging of the branded drugs they produce. "The public should be given complete information about what they buy...this is in line with efforts to empower and protect consumers," says Indonesian Health Minister. Drug companies have objected, seeking an extension to sell out their current inventory.
