Del Monte to acquire Meow Mix at the same time selling off private label soup and infant feeding businesses to TreeHouse Foods, Inc.

Under a copack agreement, TreeHouse will produce broth for Del Monte's College Inn broth business, which is not part of this sale. Like Del Monte's current pet products (9Lives), Meow Mix's products are distributed nationally, with the majority of sales in grocery and mass merchandiser channels. Not packaging related, but shows growth in petfood market.
