"Advanced industrialized countries like the United States, Canada and most European countries have all made such rules mandatory," says director of the ministry's living standards division. The products subject to the new rules are chemical deodorants, cleaning detergents, glues, polishes, stain removers, antifreeze and liquid soap used with vehicle window-wipers.
