U.S. FDA wants condom packages to warn that condoms are less effective at stopping some sexually tra

In proposed rules posted on its Web site, the Food and Drug Administration said the changes to male condom labels would provide people with more precise information on how well condoms work. The FDA would not insist condom manufacturers use FDA-provided language, but they would have to include the information in some form on their packages.
