Packaging company moves in to Russia. . .

Seeking profits in the growing market of eastern Europe, Rexam has purchased Russian beverage can maker Rostar from the Russian aluminum conglomerate En + Group. Rostar has facilities in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Rexam, whose clients include Anheuser-Busch, Cadbury-Schweppes, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola, Heineken, InBev, and Pepsi, says the acquisition is part of the company's strategy to expand into emerging markets.
