EDUCATION

Clemson University will host two short courses in late Spring. Packaging Fundamentals will be held June 7-9. Dr. Scott Whiteside and Greg Batt will serve as instructors for this $875 course, which is designed to provide an overview of the basic principles needed by successful packaging professionals, and those who interact with the packaging industry.

Whiteside will also instruct Managing Packaging Development, June 9-10. This $525 course will provide the skills needed to develop packages and packaging systems to meet the requirements of the product, the usage environment, materials, distribution, and the production system.
