IPACK-IMA adds plastics for 2006

The trend towards co-locating expositions took on an international flavor when Dr. Guido Corbella, managing director of Ipack-Ima, Milan, Italy, announced new plans for the 2006 Ipack-Ima exposition. Ipack-Ima (www.ipackima.it) is represented in the United States by Events Intl. USA.

At a luncheon during Pack Expo Las Vegas, Dr. Corbella announced that Ipack-Ima will next be staged Feb. 14 to 18, 2006, and will be co-located with Plast 2006, the major Italian plastics exposition. The combination of the two shows, he says, is expected to draw 130ꯠ visitors.

Next year, Dr. Corbella said, his organization will stage Pharmintech www.pharmintech.com June 8 to 11, to be co-located with Safe Food and Pack-mat, at the fairgrounds in Bologna, Italy. While the Pharmintech exhibition and conference is geared towards the pharmaceutical industry, Safe Food will cover extended shelf-life technologies and food security, and Pack-mat will include materials and containers for packaging.
