The Coca-Cola Company has acquired Costa Limited, a leading international coffee brand, from Whitbread PLC for $4.9 billion. With operations in more than 30 countries, Costa has a scalable platform with a number of formats and channels, including the Costa Express vending system and opportunities to introduce ready-to-drink products.
