Contract Packager Recalls Bacon Seasoning Over Undeclared Allergen

TS Packaging is recalling two brands of bacon seasoning due to the presence of an undeclared soy allergen.

TS Packaging, a contract food packager, has recalled its “Rural King” and “Wabash Valley Farms” Bacon Seasoning after a soy ingredient was found to be undeclared in the product, the FDA announced.

Before the recall, the seasoning was distributed nationwide via E-commerce and retail stores. The product was packaged in 4.2 oz plastic jars with numbers 17324s,27824s, and 30324s. In addition, 1 oz sample gift packets were marked with lot numbers 16524SP, 16624SP, 23424SP, 26324SP, 26424SP, 26724SP, 20624S, 20724S.
