The Coca-Cola Company is teaming up with Keurig Dr Pepper and PepsiCo in the American Beverage Association (ABA)-organized coalition to reduce America’s plastic waste through the multi-faceted industry initiative, Every Bottle Back. The initiative includes four core components: reducing the use of virgin plastic in the US; improving the sorting, processing and collection of discarded plastic bottles in four key US regions; launching a public awareness and community outreach campaign to promote recycling and the value of 100 percent recyclable bottles; using packaging to inform consumers that PET bottles are 100 percent recyclable and can be remade into new bottles.
