The stationary barcode imager reads the most common 1-D and 2-D code symbologies without having to change settings. Its 1.3 megapixel resolution enables it to accurately and reliably read small and large codes at distances ranging from 20 mm to 300 mm at 3 readings per second. JavaScript enables the code reader to link into all common programs, allowing evaluations on the reader itself. The unit also features the company’s standard operator interface, Vision-Configurator, which makes it possible to set parameters intuitively and displays images from the reader. Using Data Matrix control codes to parameterize the reader eliminates the need for separate operating software. As a result, configuration, startup, and testing processes are simple and fast. The 24 VDC devices offer IP65 protection, and are rated for use in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C (32 to 122 °F). Suggested applications include packaging, print and paper, automobile, material handling, and pharma.
