Queens, NY-based Garden Lites, The Delicious Vegetable Company™, is debuting a new look that includes an updated logo along with easy-to-read copy on packaging for its vegetable-rich lines of muffins and soufflés. Key nutritional information has been moved to the top corner of the carton that highlights the dietary benefits of the muffins, including the fact that they are gluten-free, dairy-free, low in calories, and contain 5 grams of fiber.

In addition, an appetizing photo on each package depicts the muffins and soufflés. The images are of real products and reflect the fine details and all-natural ingredients inside every muffin and soufflé. As with Garden Lite’s previous packaging, the carton is recyclable, and the soufflé bowls and plastic overwrap are BPA-free.

Available nationwide in the freezer section, 2-oz Garden Lites Muffins are made of one-third vegetables and thaw at room temperature, which makes them a great portable option for breakfast on-the-go, everyday lunches, and after-school snacks. The muffins can also be heated up in the microwave in just 35 seconds.

The individually wrapped muffins are available in five flavors: Banana Chocolate Chip, Chocolate, Blueberry Oat, Carrot Berry, and Golden Corn.

“These muffins are a true innovation, as there is nothing else on the market that has vegetables as the first ingredient,” says Julie Gould, Assistant Brand Manager of Garden Lites. “Our new packaging combines more prominent positioning of nutritional information with vibrant new visuals, and is anticipated to drive trial at retail while reinforcing brand awareness.”
