Escada’s 2004 fragrance, Island Kiss, is a youthful scent with notes of fruit and flowers. Escada went to its converting partner, Société Parisienne d’Impression et de Cartonnage, which chose the 16-pt Crescendo board.

“For this kind of product, our prospective buyer must immediately see an inviting, distinctive look, and a package that conveys overall quality,” says Irene Pertl, Escada purchasing manager. “We were looking for a paperboard capable of showcasing a range of vibrant colors in crisp, appealing ways.” And as a seasonal product, the production cycle was short, just three months.
