Weighbelt feeder features tool-less belt removal

The Schenck MULTIDOS DEA open frame weighbelt feeder includes an IP69K stainless-steel load cell manufactured to withstand high-pressure spray; a shaft-mounted washdown drive system; gravity-assist head pulley scraper and internal plow that automatically clean both sides of the belt; and 316 stainless-steel product contact surfaces. Able to attain feed rates up to 2,660 cu ft per hr, the unit provides weight controlled feeding, weight indication and totalization for fragile materials, such as cereals, snack foods, kibble, fruits and pasta. Models with 12- and 24-in. belt widths, belt weight influence compensation and accuracies of +/-0.25 to 1 percent of set rate sigma are available.
