Campbell Wrapper Corporation will display a Revolution Horizontal Flow Wrapper and Desiccant Feeder in Booth S-1700 at PACK EXPO International 2024.
The Campbell Revolution flow wrapper features include Allen-Bradley’s servo drive technology with 5700 Kinetix drives, PanelView Plus 7 1000 color touchscreen, VPL servo motors, easy clean design, and quick changeover. The infeed features hinged top plates and drop-down style side covers providing easy access for cleaning and sanitation.
Integrated desiccant cutter for optimal desiccant placement along with a product strip feeder. The flow wrapper offers a servo driven film feed roll, automatic film splicer, separate servo drive for the 1st set of fin wheels, sanitary modular design, verification of rejected products, and a patented long dwell servo cutting head drive for accurate cutoff adjustment and capable of producing hermetically sealed packages at high speeds.
An integrated Videojet Thermal Transfer printer and Cognex vision system enhances quality assurance by providing real-time monitoring and quality inspection of the print on the package. The wrapper has chilled deck plates combined with a re-circulating liquid chiller to ensure product integrity during intermittent wrapper stops.
The Campbell Revolution can easily be integrated with automatic feeders, robotic product loading cells, code daters, cartoners, or other equipment. The machine comes standard with a web width of 16 inches, and optional web widths are available. Optional features include out of position product-no cut, no product-no package and stainless steel/wash-down construction.
The Campbell Revolution produces packages for a wide range of applications such as bakery and confections, medical and pharmaceutical products, frozen foods, snack bars, school lunches, sandwiches, wet wipes, paper products, and many more food and consumer products.
