New from Bayer Films is Makrofol® DPF-5072, a polycarbonate-based film with a gloss first surface and a matte second surface. Specially designed for bright, metallic-look applications, film is printable on both first and second surfaces.

Available in 15-mil thickness and 48.5”W, the film is formable using thermoforming, high-pressure forming, and hydroforming. Ideal for flat appliqués such as backlit deadfront and film molding insert applications with draw depths less than 0.5”. Typical applications include automotive, telecommunications, and other industries.
