Flexible Packaging Conference includes hard-hitting keynotes, panelists

The Flexible Packaging Conference scheduled for March 14-16 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld in Orlando, FL, will include top-flight keynote speakers to analyze the ongoing shift from rigid to flexible packaging.

Speakers include Mark Carlson, Creative Director, U.S. Marketing for McDonald's Corp., Olivier Muggli, vp Research and Development for Alcan Corp., and Matt Jamison, Director of P&M Corporate Finance. Three panel discussions will also take place. The first panel, "Responding to the Market - Academic Approaches to Flexible Packaging," will explore the significance of flexible packaging in academia, including representatives from the University of Florida, Michigan State University, Clemson, and Rochester Institute of Technology. The second panel, "Food Packaging Innovations - A Close Look at Flexible Packaging Solutions for Tomorrow's Consumer Needs," examines flexible packaging used in the food services industry with panelists from Nestle, Marriott, the Culinary Edge, and the Chicago Research Chefs. The third, "Emerging Developments in Flexible Packaging Treatment," investigates important and future developments in film treatment with participants from Pillar Technologies, Enercon, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Industrial Materials Institute, and Alcan.
