Hello, my name is Bill Aurand. I'm with Rinco Ultrasonics, and we are demonstrating a new servo driven pouch top sealing device. We've been in this market for quite a while. The big advantage of ultrasonics with pouch sealing is that it can seal through contamination. So if there's soups or sauces that get in the seal area, the ultrasonic vibrations drive it out, and we get a hermetic seal anyways.

The new advantage here, we've had pneumatic systems for years and years, and they're very reliable, but you, pneumatics are compressible, air is compressible, so the control isn't quite there that you get with a servo. They're a little bit slower. A new servo driven machine now, um, allows us to control the positions of the jaws much more accurately.

In fact, the new system is so accurate that we no longer have to have pouch presence sensors on the machines when they're integrated. In the past those sensors had to be there to keep the jaws from vibrating when they were closed because that could do damage to the equipment. So the new system Systems are much more easy to integrate.

It can sense a folded pouch, it can sense a missing pouch and send signals out to alert the machine to either discard or, or stop whatever the customer would like it to do. We also have a lot more daylight available in the jaws. We're running with a very short stroke here just for the demonstration at the show, but we've got four inches available daylight for rotary installations.

And we have integrated the entire control cabinet. So it's a turnkey system. Some of our competitors have a servo drive, sort of a hybrid with pneumatics, but you're responsible for integrating or, or the servo controls. We've tied the whole thing together, so you just give our signal, our system a go signal, and it goes through the entire cycle.

We've got graphing available for troubleshooting, and like I said, it seals a pouch, gives you a yes or no, good pouch, bad pouch, or can give you all kinds of information. And this is a. So once again, Rinko Ultrasonics servo driven pouch top sealer. If you want more information about it, go to rinkoultrasonics.com.

You can find us, we're a Swiss company, so very high quality. We do have a U. S. office where we manufacture tooling and can support globally. So, hope to hear from you.
