Wal-Mart appeals China fraud case. . .

A Chinese consumer sued Wal-Mart and was awarded $275 for the retail giant's oversight mislabeling some tooth powder and selling biscuits past expiration date.

The Chinese label on the tooth powder said it was made in Japan, but additional information on the package said it was from Thailand. The tins of biscuits were sold past their October 15, 2006 date. Wal-Mart claims the consumer staged the whole thing to win the compensation.
