National Adhesives: Adhesive foaming system

The Aerobond™ adhesive foaming system from National Starch (Bridgewater, NJ) includes 32-151A resin emulsion adhesive and applicator. The system uses little water to foam the adhesive, resulting in good lay-flat quality, fast drying, and dimensional stability in converting applications.

The company reports as much as 40% reduction in material (above right) as well as reduced build-up on knives. Other benefits include faster converting times and good hold-out on highly absorbent substrates.
